To Sunlight’s children, grandchildren, Jackie, Wings, Lamed, Terri ,Chalice, the Source family and fans. Sunlight loved each and everyone of you. I send you all my love and share your pain in this time of mourning.

As many of you know I was married to and with Sky Sunlight for 9 years. I divorced Sky Sunlight in 2006. We met in Kailua, Hawaii 27 years ago.

Last October 2008 he phoned and told me that he never would have divorced me recounting that it was I who divorced him, he said I would always be his wife and asked me if I would get a place with him again or if I could find him a place near me so he could be near Khamael and I after his tour. At which time I told him he should stay with Sabrina. I never thought that I would never see Sunlight again much less not be able to say goodbye to him. Yet I know he would not want me to live with remorse.

He was my greatest love and a best friend I thought for those of you who did not have the chance to know him I could share a few memories of this certainly bigger then life man.

He was the kind of man who would come to the aid of anyone in need and would give you the shirt off his back. He had a spirit of innocence, a child like personality, always spontaneous and free. He lived his life always in the moment. To say he lived life to the fullest would be a big understatement. I know all those who knew him can say he left an imprint on our hearts.

I was fortunate to share many moments of laughter and love with Sunlight. Favorite memories would include our candlelight bubble baths together where he would croon old standards to me. I always encouraged him to do a standards album. He was one of the world’s best crooners but no one will know that now.

Another memory that comes to mind …. several beautiful spring days when we would drive up to the Trinity Alps and take a hike with Khamael amongst a forest filled with wildflowers. I remember thinking about why he never did get some hiking shoes, he still chose to wear his mod ankle boots even in the forest!

Sky Sunlight had a great sense of humor , I want to share with you a funny story he would tell.

Once he went into a convenience store to purchase American Spirit cigarettes. There was a clerk from India at the counter. When Sky Sunlight went to pay he told the man “this is robbery” to which the man responded “What?!?! You robbing me!?!?!” Sky Sunlight responded “No man you’re robbing me”.

As you know Sky Sunlight had a great love for dogs and wolves. How I am remembering him in my mind visually is with our dogs Leah and Khamael. When Leah passed he chanted over her body for 3 days before burying her. Sky Sunlight called Khamael his “son”, he also called him “angel dog”. Khamael is 8 now ; Sunlight would still phone to talk to his “son”.

I thank you Sky Sunlight Saxon for your laughter, eternal love and the joy you brought to the planet. Thank you for your music, for the songs you wrote for me and with me because all I have that comforts me in this moment is hearing your voice and holding Khamael. You will always live on through your music and I know I will see you again on the other side with Leah. I am imagining her greeting you with that wink we loved so. Bless you my love.
